How to connect and use Quickbooks Online software with Fresh Proposals to generate invoice
You can connect your Quickbooks account with Fresh Proposal to import contacts to Fresh Proposals or save new contacts to QB, generate invoice, download invoice and open to edit the invoice.
Note: Quickbooks integration is available for the Business plan users. It can also be used as a paid add on by Professional (We Can Fly) plan subscribers.
Connect Quickbooks with Fresh Proposals
On the Integrations menu on the left side, you will find Quickbooks icon.
Click on Quickbooks icon to set up the integration.
In the next step, provide necessary access so that contact, invoices, taxes can be shared between these two applications.
Once connection is successful, you can start using the integration.
Import/ Adding Contacts from Quickbooks
You can get contacts from a connected organization from Quickbooks to Fresh Proposals. Once selected and imported, you can send proposals to these contacts in Fresh Proposals.
Generating Invoice
Once a proposal is accepted, you can navigate Proposal Summary > Proposal Details > More Options as shown below.
Only if the proposal status is 'Signed' or 'Accepted', you will see a link to Generate Invoice as shown above.
Click on Generate Invoice button and it will show you this popup
You can specify how much of the proposal value is to be invoiced (the percentage) also enter other details and click Ok
List of Invoice: Download, View/Edit
You will see Invoice generated and listed below. You can click to download the invoice and click to open it in Quickbooks to edit/ save it.
Open Invoice in Quickbooks to Edit, Approve
Successfully generated and saved invoice will start reflecting in the books of account and also in the reports you generate in Quickbooks as shown below.
Notes:
1. It is an integration between Quickbooks online software and Fresh Proposals
2. The invoice generated through Fresh Proposals, will check for existing Product/ Service items in your Quickbooks account and use those
3. If no matching product/ service is found, it will add a generic services item in the invoice and you can update it directly in the Quickbooks online software.
