Compare Section Versions

Note: This feature is available in the Business plan. Kindly upgrade your current plan to Business plan to use this feature.


How to access it: Proposal/Template Editor > Sections List > Section Menu > Version History


You can compare two versions of a section while checking their information as well as preview ing their contents side-by-side.



When you click on those three dots, you will see menu options as shown below.






To compare the information and content in a given section version, click on 'Compare' option. 



You will see section version information, its pages side by side.


You can compare the section version information details side by side

  • Section name
  • Modified time
  • Source document - whether proposal, template or section library and its name
  • Who modified it
  • Time since it was modified 






Change Version to Compare

You can click on the version list dropdown as shown below and select desired version for comparison. You can change version on both sides





Compare section version makes it easier for you to spot differences in two revisions of a section which could be created by two different people, in two different documents (proposals or templates or section library).


You can make sure right content, content that has worked is used in the next proposal.





If you identify a section version that is most suited for your current document, you can simply click on 'Use This' button on the top block and the same version will be used instead of existing version of the section.


Below is a snapshot that displays when you start comparing two versions, multiple times, you will be able to identify the different changes made in the sections.
