Types of tiered pricing
Fresh Proposals allows you to create following types of tiered pricing packages.
- Simple Tiers
- SaaS Tiers
- Unit Multiplier
- Two Units Multiplier
- Monthly Retainer
- Yearly Retainer
Let's look at each type and what it means.
Simple Tiers
As the name suggest, this is the classic or simple type of presentation of pricing tier. Each tier/plan is presented vertically with its Title, Price, Features and optional fees.
When client views 'Simple Tiers' kind of pricing packages in your proposal, s/he can compare two/more tiers at once and select desired tier. Optionally s/he can also select add-on applicable to a given tier.
SaaS Tiers
As the name implies, this type of tier is used for solution as a service pricing - yes, it is inspired from Software as a service (SaaS).
You can name each tier, set monthly as well as yearly price per tier, have optional fees for each tier.
You can also set multiplier for entire package (e.g. per user)
When client views 'SaaS Tiers' kind of pricing packages in your proposal, s/he can select Monthly or Yearly package to view, compare two/more tiers at once and select desired tier, use slider to change quantity of users. Optionally s/he can also select add-on applicable to a given tier.
Client can see per user per month or per user per year price for each tier, change number of users quantity by himself/herself; also select-unselect add-ons and see the final total as well.
Unit Multiplier
As the name implies, this type of tier is used for any services pricing where service price depends on the number of units to serve/process. e.g. accounting firm offering retainer pricing for per month accounting and as client select the number of months, it can change; alternatively you can also set price per number of book-keeping entries or rental price per drone-unit and allow users to select number of drones/laptops/devices.
When client views 'Unit Multiplier Tiers' kind of pricing packages in your proposal, s/he can compare two/more tiers at once and select desired tier, use slider to change quantity of units. Optionally s/he can also select add-on applicable to a given tier. In the summary card below, client can view which package is selected, what is per unit price, number of units selected, optional fees selected and their price as well as package total.
Two Units Multiplier
When client views 'Two Units Tiers' kind of pricing packages in your proposal, s/he can compare two/more tiers at once and select desired tier, use first slider to change first type of unit-quantity and also use second slider to change second type of unit-quantity. Optionally s/he can also select add-on applicable to a given tier.
When client views 'Unit Multiplier Tiers' kind of pricing packages in your proposal, s/he can compare two/more tiers at once and select desired tier, use slider to change quantity of units. Optionally s/he can also select add-on applicable to a given tier. In the summary card below, client can view which package is selected, what is per unit price, number of units selected, optional fees selected and their price as well as package total.
Monthly Retainer
Services which are offered as monthly retainer should use this type. Most professional services like accounting services, bookkeeping services, consulting service, cleaning service, etc can be billed on each month and hence monthly retainer is suitable for these services pricing.

Yearly Retainer
Similar to monthly retainer, yearly retainer can be offered to your clients. Services which are offered as yearly retainer wherein you can bill your clients on a yearly basis, should use this type.
