When client opens a proposal link in the browser, s/he can view the proposal. It has a comment panel on the right side.
Client has two options to add comment
1. Add General Comment
2. Specific/Pointed Comment
Add General Comment
When client want to add a general comment about a proposal s/he can use this option by clicking on a 'Add a Comment' button under General label.
Add Specific/ Pointed Comment
If client wants to add a specific comment on a particular page on a given section, and at a specific location on a page, s/he simply need to move the mouse pointer on the page and the pointer will turn into a special pointer as shown below.
As comment is added by client, it will be added to the list of comments in the right side panel as shown above.
The proposer will receive email notification about it
Proposer can check the comment in the proposals activities list
Proposer can also view/ check the comment in the proposal Preview (internal preview of the proposal)
View & Respond to Client Comment
As of now, as a proposer, you can not respond to client comment using your email.
Proposer can view and respond to client's comment by logging in to his/her Fresh Proposals account and by navigating to
1. Proposal Activities List seen on the proposal summary page
To view Proposal Summary > Proposals Activities > Check activities for client comment as shown below
If you know the context of this comment, you can reply to client comment right through this page. Click on the comment icon as shown and you will be able to your response to client's comment.
2. Proposal Preview, Comments Tab
If you are not sure which section/page/content block your client is referring to, the correct way is to open the proposal in preview mode. You will be able to view all comments in the comments tab, click on the respective number to view it on the page and you can click on reply button in the right side panel to add your response as shown below.
Email Notification
When a comment is added, you will receive email notification as shown below

Client-Interface Language
If you have set client-interface language other than English, the labels, buttons in the Comments page will appear in the selected language.
